Delivery & Unloading – What to Expect

An overview of our delivery and unloading process, including scheduling, timeframes, transport methods and site requirements. This guide sets clear expectations so customers understand how deliveries are arranged and what to expect on arrival.

When Transport Is Booked

Our delivery team can only arrange transport after full payment has been received.

Before transport is booked, customers are required to confirm the delivery address. This is particularly important where the delivery address differs from the invoice or billing address, as incorrect or incomplete details may result in delays or misrouting.

If you have any specific availability restrictions (for example, days when delivery is not possible), please advise us at the time of address confirmation.

Transport is booked based on the delivery address and availability confirmed by the customer. Any changes after transport has been booked may result in delays or additional costs.

Delivery Scheduling & Timeframes

Transport is scheduled on an ASAP (as soon as possible) basis once payment, delivery address and availability have been confirmed.

ASAP refers to the earliest available transport slot based on route planning and driver availability, not a fixed or guaranteed delivery date.

As a general guide:

  • Short-distance deliveries are typically completed within 2 days to 2 weeks, depending on transport availability, route planning and driver schedules at the time.
  • Long-distance deliveries (over 1,000 km) or deliveries to remote areas generally take 1–3 weeks. Some long-distance or remote routes do not operate daily, which can affect delivery timing.

Delivery timing ultimately depends on transport operators and drivers. For long-distance transport in particular, delays may occasionally occur due to factors such as:

  • Mechanical issues with a truck en route
  • Delays on a previous job affecting the driver’s schedule

While we work closely with transport providers to minimise delays, exact delivery dates cannot always be guaranteed in advance.

Transport Vehicles

Delivery vehicles vary depending on distance, route and load requirements:

  • Short-distance deliveries are commonly carried out using tilt tray trucks or flatbed trucks with ramps
  • Long-distance deliveries are typically carried out using semi trailers

Vehicle type is determined by the transport provider based on load, route and availability, and we are unable to guarantee or accommodate requests for a specific delivery vehicle.

Unloading on Arrival

Our deliveries commonly include tractors and implements, and unloading is carried out by the driver, where site conditions allow safe unloading.

  • Implements are typically supplied in steel crates due to their size and weight
  • Implements generally weigh between 100 kg and 700 kg, and steel crating is used to ensure transport safety

Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery site has safe and suitable access for unloading on arrival, including firm ground and adequate space for the delivery vehicle.

Driver Responsibilities & Machine Operation Support

Our drivers are responsible for delivery and unloading only.

They are not authorised to provide training, operational instructions or technical advice relating to machine operation.

For guidance on machine operation, setup and basic use, we recommend referring to:

  • Our YouTube videos
  • The operator’s manual
  • The Quick Start Guide supplied with invoice

These resources are designed to provide clear and consistent information and should be used as the primary reference for machine operation.

If you have any further questions after reviewing these materials, our team is always happy to assist.

Driver Contact & Communication

Prior to arrival, the driver will generally contact the customer directly to confirm access and timing.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the provision of a driver’s contact number in advance, as transport companies may assign different drivers depending on availability on the day of delivery.

We will, however, ensure the transport provider has the correct delivery details and will assist with communication where required.

What Can Delay Delivery

In some cases, delivery may be delayed or rescheduled due to factors such as:

  • Address changes after transport has been booked
  • Restricted or unsafe site access
  • Weather conditions
  • Limited driver availability on long-distance routes
  • Delays on previous transport jobs

Our priority is to ensure delivery and unloading are carried out safely.

In Summary

  • Transport is booked after full payment is received
  • Delivery address and availability must be confirmed beforebooking
  • Delivery is scheduled on an ASAP basis, not to a fixed date
  • Delivery timing depends on distance, route and driver availability
  • Safe site access is required for unloading

Our Approach

We believe a smooth delivery starts with clear expectations and realistic timeframes.

By confirming delivery details early and understanding how transport scheduling works, we can help ensure your machine arrives safely and with minimal disruption.
